Biasanya snack bar terbuat dari campuran kacang-kacangan, buah kering dan cokelat. Kini Ando membuat tempebar yang tak lain terbuat dari potongan tempe yang diolah dengan lapisan cokelat serta beberapa topping seperti buah kering, kacang ataupun kelapa parut.

Kegiatan promosi tempe di Eropa ini dijadikan sebuah kampanye global untuk mempromosikan tempe sebagai makanan khas hasil fermentasi yang baik untuk kesehatan. Kampanye ini dinamakan Ando dengan sebutan Indonesian Tempe Movement.
